Coulter Partners Team Week 2018
Coulter Partners brought the whole global team together in June at Down Hall, Hatfield Forest in the deepest English countryside. A talented and diverse team of 75 from many corners of the world met together for a packed programme of workshops, strategy meetings, presentations and keynote speeches. Futurist visions, passionate values, strength in diversity – these were just some of the themes touched on in the leafy glades – and the hard work was punctuated by rounders, football tournaments and intercontinental pub quizzes, as the evenings drew in. “A Night at the Opera” themed Gala dinner rounded off 3 days of intensive team building and strategising for the future of Coulter Partners.
The early evening entertainment was provided by our very own Sophie Pullen, soprano , who was accompanied by Valeria Kurbatova on the harp…Their progamme included music from Puccini, Bellini and Debussy and for the finale, Sophie sang Mi chiamano Mimi from La bohème, O mio Babinno Caro from Gianni Schicchi and Musetta’s Quando men vo from La bohème. And what a crowd pleaser that was!
The tenets of clear communication and orchestral harmony were underlying themes of the week and everyone made full use of the opportunity to share ideas and get in tune with one another. Perspectives from the Nordics, Switzerland, Germany, the US East and West Coasts and not forgetting Britain, were all exchanged in a congenial atmosphere of co-operation, mutual respect and a lot of laughter. All learned a great deal and went away energised, feeling they had been instrumental in laying the foundations for Coulter Partners’ future as virtuoso performer in Life Science Search.
