Pittsburgh Stuff a Bus

Supporting Toys for Tots

With the opening of a new office and the holidays just around the corner, the Coulter Partners Pittsburgh office, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is already integrating with the local community.

For four days each year, iHeartMedia Pittsburgh’s 96.1 KISS, Pittsburgh’s No. 1 Hit Music Station hosts a toy drive with the goal of stuffing as many school buses full of toys, as possible.  The event collects donations of new, unwrapped toys that are donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys-for-Tots Program.  The toys will then be distributed to less fortunate children in the community.

“Even with Coulter Partners being a global firm, our community footprint is as equally important.  This was a great and fun way for us to start that foundation here in Pittsburgh,” said Mat.

On a chilly afternoon, the research team went toy shopping and then headed to the buses to make their donations.

“We walked up to 4 maybe 5 school buses; you could already see that most were stuffed to the brim with toys! It’s a really heartwarming moment to know that these toys will bring so much joy to kids this holiday season,” added Rachel.

This year, Pittsburgh stuffed 59 buses full of toys, a new record!
