Coulter Partners Chair joins UK Parliament Roundtable

Our Founder and Executive Chair, Bianca Coulter, recently joined a high-level roundtable at the House of Lords, hosted by Lord Ranger of Northwood, to discuss the launch of Phase Two of the "Beyond the Capital Gap" report.

Developed by Henham Strategy in partnership with Pioneer Group and The Crown Estate, the report warns that without strengthening the infrastructure around investment, the UK risks “unlocking capital into a system ill-equipped to absorb it.”

A major theme of the discussion was the challenge of attracting and retaining the world-class executive talent needed to scale.

As Bianca highlighted during the session:

"We see that the challenges in raising money here beyond early stages, along with the perception that funding is drip fed and CEOs spend a disproportionate percentage of their time raising it... deter experienced CEOs from coming to the UK from the US."
