Carlos joined Coulter Partners in September 2026 from Heidrick & Struggles, where, as a Principal, he rebuilt and led the firm's Life Sciences & Healthcare Practice in Iberia. Throughout his executive search career, he has advised clients across healthcare, life sciences and consumer sectors on senior leadership appointments and talent challenges.
Prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Carlos held senior roles with Futurestep, a Korn Ferry company, where he led executive search and talent acquisition projects across life sciences and consumer markets. Earlier in his career, he specialized in healthcare and scientific recruitment with Hays.
In addition to his consulting work, Carlos lectures at CESIF on digital transformation within the pharmaceutical industry and serves as a Board Member of MAD e-Health. Carlos holds a bachelor´s degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Complutense and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and completed the Program for Management Development (PMD) at ESADE Business School.
